Adult DVD or video on demand

Ten years ago we all had one place to buy adult dvds, it was a case of heading to the local porn shop, now don’t get me wrong I don’t have any problems with porn shops but for most of us the whole experience of going into an adult shop was a bit nerve ranking.

I know on many occasions I walked past several times LOL and I’m sure the shop owners around these adult stores must have had a real good laugh at the expense of us poor embarrassed porn buyers, and the very idea of telling the shop assistant the type of porn I wanted was even worse, especially if I wanted something lets say a little risqué!!

But thanks to the Internet this has all come to an END, although strictly speaking if you are buying a adult DVD from the UK based porn site then the webmaster is breaking the law, but don’t get me going down that road - so most if not all online stores that sell porn dvds do this via European online stores, which is fine as these websites run outside the UK can legally sell movies and send them to any part of the UK – so if you wanted to buy lets say Melanies new swingers DVD then so long as it’s from one of these stores then you’ll know there’s a good chance you get the DVD and from someone that loves porn I have to say that the movies Melanie makes are a pretty good indication of what goes on at swingers party.

But now we have a another option for getting out fixes!

VOD or to give it its full title video on demand streaming or downloads, now I’m a massive fan of streaming porn movies as no longer do I need to wait for days to get my porn, if I want to watch one of Mels amature movies, all I need do is search it out and so long as I choose the streaming option I can be watching it within seconds! AND for a fraction of buying the DVDs as well, plus from the sites I’ve used in the past most movies come in around £4 so about the same cost as hiring a movie from Blockbuster, but with one little twist you won’t get these movies from blockbuster!!

Although streaming offers instant access is doesn’t offer the real quality downloading porn movies does, and to be honest if it’s a movie I want to sit back and really enjoy like for example “Melanie’s Real British Porn Newbies” which is a great amateur swingers dvd then downloading is the only way forward but you will have to wait! - But consider this “if” you bought the DVD via a porn dvd site it would take at best 4 days to get to you and cost you £25 but by downloading it it will take up to 4 hours (for longer films) and cost £10 – which do you prefer?

The last option is PPV or pay per view,  ideal for someone wanting, let’s call it a quick fix this is the route for you as you only pay for exactly what you watch. So if you watch ten minutes of Melanies swingers that’s all you pay for and considering the cost is around 4p per minute it means that movie just cost you 40p!!!

Over time I will talk further about the four different ways of buying, streaming, download & using PPV to watch porn but in the meantime this is just an opening introduction into the world of porn.
